BOI – Binding Origin Information

BOI (Binding Origin Information) is a decision issued by the customs authority on application, bindingly determining the origin (preferential or non-preferential) of specific goods. BOI is valid for 3 years from issuance and binds customs authorities in all EU member states. It is the origin equivalent of BTI (Binding Tariff Information).
