CE marking (Conformité Européenne) is a mandatory marking on products placed on the European Economic Area market, confirming compliance with relevant EU directives (e.g. machinery, low voltage, toys, EMC). CE is not a quality mark – it only indicates compliance with safety requirements. The importer is responsible for CE marking on products imported from third countries.
