Computed Value Method

The computed value method (Art. 74(2)(d) UCC) determines customs value based on the cost of production in the country of export, plus an amount for profit and general expenses at the level typical for sales of goods of the same class for export to the EU. This method is rarely used as it requires access to confidential foreign producer data.
