Definition

The EU-Mercosur agreement is a trade deal between the EU and the Mercosur bloc (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay), politically agreed in December 2024. It aims to cover about 91% of goods trade, eliminating tariffs on most industrial products and partially on agricultural products.
