GSP – Generalised Scheme of Preferences
GeneralRegulation (EU) No 978/2012 (GSP)
PL: GSP – Ogólny System Preferencji | DE: APS – Allgemeines Präferenzsystem
Definition
GSP (Generalised Scheme of Preferences) is a system of unilateral tariff preferences granted by the EU to developing countries. It includes three arrangements: Standard GSP (reduced duties), GSP+ (zero duties for countries implementing international conventions), and EBA (Everything But Arms – zero duties without quotas for least-developed countries). To benefit from GSP, exporters in beneficiary countries must be registered in the REX system.
