ICS2

ICS2 (Import Control System 2) is the new generation of the EU import control system replacing ICS1. The system requires filing of an Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) before goods arrive in the EU customs territory. ICS2 is deployed in three phases (Release 1-3) covering all modes of transport. Its goal is to improve supply chain security through early threat identification. Since March 2024, it applies to postal and express consignments.
