Import VAT Deduction

Import VAT deduction is the right of a VAT-registered taxable person to reduce their output VAT by the amount of VAT paid on import. In Poland since 2020, import VAT can be settled directly in the VAT return (without payment to customs), significantly improving importers' cash flow.
