NCTS

NCTS (New Computerised Transit System) is an electronic system for managing customs transit procedures in the EU and EFTA countries. It enables electronic filing of transit declarations (T1 for external transit, T2 for internal), real-time tracking of consignments, and data exchange between customs offices. NCTS replaced paper documents and significantly accelerated transit clearance. It is part of the broader EU customs programme (EU Customs Data Model).
