Section XIV contains a single chapter (71) covering natural and cultured pearls, precious and semi-precious stones, precious metals (gold, silver, platinum), jewellery, and coins. Import of monetary gold is typically exempt from duty and VAT. Diamond trade is subject to the Kimberley Process.
