FAS – Free Alongside Ship

FAS (Free Alongside Ship) is an Incoterms rule for sea transport only. The seller delivers goods alongside the vessel at the agreed port of shipment. Risk passes when goods are alongside the ship. The buyer bears loading, freight, insurance, and import clearance costs. The seller handles export clearance.
