Definition
SENT is a Polish road and rail transport monitoring system for sensitive goods, operated by KAS. It covers excise goods (fuels, alcohol, dried tobacco), lubricating oils, and other goods with elevated tax fraud risk. Each transport requires a notification (SENT reference number) before starting. Missing notifications or discrepancies result in goods detention and penalties up to 46% of value.
