Definition and scope of CN subheading 8425 49

Subheading 8425 49 of the Combined Nomenclature covers other jacks and hoists that are not hydraulic (8425 42) nor built-in (8425 41). This includes mechanical rack jacks, screw jacks (trapezoidal), pneumatic air bag jacks, balloon jacks for vehicles and lever jacks for railway tracks. Classification under 8425 49 is residual, covering all jacks not specified in 8425 41 and 8425 42.
