Definition
The Wassenaar Arrangement is a multilateral agreement of 42 states on export controls for conventional arms and dual-use goods and technologies. The Wassenaar control list covers 10 categories (including electronics, computers, telecommunications, sensors, navigation, materials). It forms the basis for the EU export control regulation (Reg. 2021/821).
